Martin Castilleja Jr.

Martin Castilleja Jr., born on July 22, 1969, in Toledo, Ohio, passed away on January 9, 2025, in Perrysburg, Ohio. He leaves behind a legacy filled with laughter, cherished memories, and the warmth of family and friends.

Martin dedicated a significant part of his life to the auto industry, working with passion and commitment for Norplas until just a few years ago. His career was not just a job; it reflected his hardworking nature and determination.

Known for his vibrant personality, Martin was often the center of attention during family gatherings. His love for humor and storytelling allowed him to create countless joyful moments, sharing crazy stories and jokes that brought smiles to many. He loved spending quality time with his family, showcasing a deep and abiding love for them.

Martin is survived by his daughters, Taylor Lynn Castilleja and Amelia Elena Castilleja, who were the lights of his life.  His sisters, Roxanne Castilleja and Michelle "Shelly" Castilleja. His legacy continues through his nieces and nephews: Amanda Campos, Brittany Castilleja, Haleana Pitts, Haley Pitts, Rebecca Obregon and fiancée Alex Zappone,  Charles "Bunky" Campos, Chad Campos, and Harry Pitts, along with a host of extended great-nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends, including his special extended family, the Vallejo Family.

Martin was preceded in death by his father, Martin Castilleja Sr., his mother, Linda Castilleja, and his cousin, Alvaro "Boss" Vallejo. They, along with his lively spirit, will always be remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the visitation scheduled for January 30, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a memorial service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Both events will take place at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Toledo, located at 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, Ohio, 43614.

Martin Castilleja Jr. will be dearly missed, and his memory will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
