Martha J. Larkin

Martha J. "Marti" Larkin, age 86, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Monday, August 29, 2022 at Kingston Residence of Sylvania with loving family by her side. She was born on July 24, 1936 to Anthony and Frieda Nausadis in Grand Rapids, MI. Marti worked at Foodtown in the deli for many years before retiring. She loved playing cards especially cribbage and taking frequent casino trips. Marti also liked to bowl and play bingo. She was an avid reader and a regular at the library when she could. Marti looked forward to spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Nausadis; former spouse and friend, Tom Larkin, Sr. Left to cherish Marti's memory are her loving children, Tom (Carrie) Larkin, Jr., Joe (Betty) Larkin, Lisa Cutlip and Amy (Scott) Grant; grandchildren, Luke, Ben, Jesse and Jillie; great-grandchildren, Bryson and Aurora; sister, Phyllis (Don) McCarthy; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Sunday, September 4, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd., Toledo, OH (419-392-9500) with Memorial Services beginning at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
