Martha Jacobs& Christine Fulghum

Martha Jacobs, 96, of Toledo, died Sunday, October 11, 2009 in Barnsdall, Oklahoma, tragically in an automobile accident. Martha was a life-long resident of Toledo. She was a life-long companion to her niece, Christine Fulghum. Martha was involved in, Eastern Star, Amaranth, True Kindred, and White Shrine of Jerusalem, where she held many local and state offices.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jacobs and her daughter, Martha Sue Larson.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Catherine (Ray) Guzman, Debarah (Dean) Krieger, Thomas (Sonya) Zmijewski, Steven Zmijewski, and Daniel Larson; 14 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
The family will receive guests Saturday from 12-4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Memorial Services will begin at 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks to please consider The Diabetes Research Fund of Arbor Hills Scholarship Fund for memorial contributions.

Carma Christine Fulghum, 69, of Toledo passed away tragically in an auto accident on Sunday, October 11, 2009 in Barnsdall, OK. She was a graduate of the University of Toledo. Chris worked for the Sylvania City Schools for 36 years until her retirement, and was named "Teacher of the Year" in 1989.
Chris was a lifelong companion to her aunt, Martha Jacobs, of Toledo, and enjoyed traveling with many close friends. Chris was involved in the Eastern Star, Amaranth, True Kindred, and White Shrine of Jerusalem. She held many local and state offices in these organizations.
Chris is survived by her brother, Bill (Donna) Fulghum; sisters, Carol (Fred) Spieker and Grace McCreary; stepbrother Mike (Harriett) Reynolds; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The family will receive guests Saturday from 12-4:00PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). A Memorial Service will begin in the funeral home at 4:00PM.
