Martha Evans

Martha M. "Mops" Evans, age 87, of Holland, passed away Monday, May 28, 2007 at the Flower Hospital. She was born on November 26, 1919 to Joseph and Sarah (Ray) Henderson in Anderson Co., TN. Mops was a wonderful cook and enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, 3 siblings and a great-granddaughter; Mops is survived by her son: James R. Evans; granddaughter: Melissa A. Evans; great grandsons: Nathan and Jeremy Evans and 1 great grandson on the way; sister: Cecile (Frank) Ayers; sister-in-law: Mary Henderson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, June 2, 2007 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Don Ayers. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
