Martha Engelhardt

Martha R Engelhardt,85, of Toledo Ohio passed away February 16, 2023, at Ebeid Hospice Residence. Marty was born February 22, 1937, to Frank and Beulah Floering. She graduated from Whitney High School in 1956. She married Donald Engelhardt on July 3, 1954. Marty was a longtime employee at Toledo Public Schools where she retired from after many years of service. They enjoyed spending time at their cottage on Barton Lake with family and friends. Marty was a lifelong member of Faith Lutheran Church where she was very involved as a board member and Sunday school teacher, as well as many other groups and activities. Marty was also an avid bowler, from Ma & Pa leagues to bowling with her friends and co-workers from TPS.

Marty is survived by her two sons Rick (Jody) Engelhardt and Paul (Denise) Engelhardt; Grandchildren Rick II (Tessa)Engelhardt, their daughter Mia, Alex (Allison) Engelhardt, Josh, Fallon, Kendall and Rylee. Brother-in-law Terry Engelhardt, Sister-in-law June (Ralph) Engelhardt and many loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her Parents, Husband Donald Engelhardt, brother Frank and sister Betty.

The family will receive guests Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Road (419-392-9500). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Marty to the Alzheimer's association of Northwest Ohio, 480 w Dussel Dr. Suite 140, Maumee, Ohio 43537.
