Martha Costell

Martha C. Costell , age 95, of Holland, Ohio passed away August 29, 2014 at Ebeid Hospice Residence. She was born September 24, 1918 in Archbold, Ohio to Henry and Lily (Nofzinger) Yedica. Martha was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed being a part of her grandchildren's lives.

Martha is survived by her children, Louis S. (Linda) Costell Jr., Marsha A. (Carl) Adkins, Larry G. (Linda) Costell, Gary A. (Karen) Costell, and Kathy A. (John) Bomia; Daughter-in-law, Rosemary Price; 24 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and 1 great great great grandchild; sisters, Dorothy (Henry) Huner, Louella Alexander, Ann Beck and Shirley (Bob) Wyse; many nieces and nephews and k-9 companion, "Oscar." In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Costell, Sr.; son, Robert Costell; granddaughter, Connie Hathcoat; great grandson, Robbie Costell;great great grandson, Michael Costell; sister, Pauline Zuver and brothers, Henry and Kenneth Yedica.

The family will receive guests Wednesday, September 3, 2014 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 10:00 am. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Springfield Township Cemetery.
