Mark William Raitz

Mark William Raitz, age 49, of Toledo, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2013 where he was surrounded by his family at Concord Care Center. He was born on July 18, 1963 to Benjamin W. and Lenna K. (Fortress) in Toledo. Mark was a graduate of DeVilbiss High School, Class of 1981. He worked for Dunbar Realty and Trilby United Methodist Church in maintenance up until his health started to decline. Mark was an avid Detroit Tigers baseball fan and Green Bay Packers football fan.
Left to cherish his memory is his parents, Ben and Lenna Raitz; son, Benjamin Raitz and daughter, Caitlyn Raitz; brother, Jeffrey (Val) Raitz and sister, Shelley (Richard) Venus and several nephews.
The family will receive guests on Friday, May 17, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Tribly United Methodist Church, 5918 Secor Rd., Toledo, OH 43623. Memorial Services will begin in the church at 11:00 a.m. Following services there will be a luncheon provided in the fellowship hall of the church.
In lieu of flowers, for expressions of sympathy please consider for memorial contributions Trilby United Methodist Church or Southern Care Hospice.
Mark's family would like to specially thank neighbors and friends for all of the kind words, love and support that has been given to them over the years.
