Son, father, brother, cousin, nephew, uncle and best friend;
Mark Stacey Galloway Sr. said hello to the world June 13, 1963, and his final goodbyes, Saturday December 19, 2021.
"Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog" Mark attended Jesup W Scott High School and graced the gospel choir with his strong vocals and led the marching 100 as the center snare and the drumline section leader. After graduating, Mark joined the United States Armed Forces completing his tour with an honorable discharge then returned to the city he loved. During his life he worked multiple jobs from UPS, Hollywood Casino, to his final job at 731 Detailing, where he did more talk service than detailing cars. Often reminding everyone he worked with that he was the legend.
Mark was…
A son, to the late Virgie L Galloway, whom he's now worrying in heaven about a German Chocolate cake, and to George O Galloway of Atlanta, whom he often called to debate, win or lose, Michigan is better than Ohio State.
A father, to Stephen M Hill of California, Mark S Galloway Jr. of Deshler Ohio, Markisha Galloway of California, and Brandon M Denwiddie of Toledo.
A grandfather to Stacey, Kiaira, Tanaeah, Isis, Lovely, and the late Miracle whom he now holds in heaven.
A brother to Sandra (Tony) Davis of Toledo, Shayla Galloway of Atlanta, Minister Sheri Galloway of Toledo, the late Stephanie Landrum, and the late Francina Stewart. Stephanie and Francina being his favorites and now they're the mischievous amigos in heaven.
A nephew, uncle, and cousin to a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, great nephews, Uncles, and great Aunt Ruby Allen.
A best friend to all that he encountered. Infecting everyone with his smile, serenading them with his humor, and loving them with his big heart.
We say good-bye to our wristband wearing, old school singing, Michigan State and Minnesota Vikings loving, I'm a Bulldog forever, my family and friends are my life, son, father, brother, cousin, nephew, and best friend.
Rest in peace Mark.
