Marjory E. Barrington

Marjory E. Barrington, age 90, of Sylvania, passed away peacefully, Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the Goerlich Center. She was born on March 12, 1923 to Mark and Mary (Robinson) Walker in Toledo. Marjory was employed with the Toledo Blade in the Classified Department before retiring after 32 years of service. She used to be a longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Marjory loved dogs and to cook. She enjoyed nothing more than the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Marjory will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Barrington; and sisters, Jeanne Walker and Dorothy Eikost. Marjory is survived by her loving children, William (Jan), David and Mary Barrington; and grandchildren, Katherine, Elizabeth and William Barrington.

The family will receive guests on Friday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
