Marjorie D. Musser, age 98, of Sylvania, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2009 at The Franciscan Care Center, Sylvania, Ohio. She was born in Fremont, Indiana on January 15, 1911 to Everett and Vesta (Hanna) Allen. She married Clarence R. Musser on August 28, 1929. Marjorie was a member of First Christian Church, and enjoyed crocheting and attending Bible Study.
Marjorie is survived by her three sons, Clarence A. (Clara) Musser, Dale W. (Edith) Musser, and Kenneth A. Musser; a sister, Jessie VanPelt; son-in-law, Lawrence Kirby; 14 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; and a dear friend, Jean Rushing.
Preceding Marjorie in death is her husband, daughter, Jessie Wilene Kirby, a grandson, Jeffrey Musser, and two brothers, Lloyd and Darrel Allen.
The family will receive guests Wednesday 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating is Dr. Joseph Hara. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
Marjorie's Family would like to thank Reagan, her care nurse, all of the staff at The Franciscan Care Center, and also all of the staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, for their excellent care over the past few months.
