Marjorie "Marge" Kuhman

Marjorie (Marge) Kuhman passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at The Lakes of Monclova. Born in Toledo to James and Hazel (Tanalski) Marsh on December 20, 1934. Marge was a proud graduate of Woodward High School Class of 1952; her classmates became her lifelong friends. Marge married Edwin F. Kuhman Jr on November 5, 1953, they raised three children together. She was Ed’s caregiver and showed unwavering support in his final days. 

Marge also was involved in the formation of the local Mother of Twins Club after the birth of her twins Cindy and Sandy. And was a Girl Scout leader. She attended many a cross country meets or basketball games of Jeff’s.

One of Marge’s passions was her flower gardens an interest picked up from her Grandma Mary. Sewing for her grandchildren she greatly enjoyed, she always had a stash of material.

Marge volunteer in many church activities at St. Petri, church council, bible studies, helping in the church office and praise band. 

Marge is preceded in death by her husband Ed, parents, brother Jim Marsh. She is survived by daughters, Cynthia Kuhman, Sandra (George) Haig, Son, Jeffrey (Cathy) Kuhman, brother Marty (Carolyn) Marsh. Grandchildren Andrew Kuhman, Michael (Kim) Haig, Matthew (Sara) Haig, Laura (Curtis) Crawford, Lindsey (Terry) Harding, Leanne (Spensor) Tanner and 12 great grandchildren.

A special thank you to all the team at The Lakes of Monclova and Hospice of Northwest Ohio that took such loving care of Mom. She will be remembered there as the lady always working her crossword puzzles.

A memorial service will be held for Marge on Saturday November 23, 2024, Visitation 10:00am-11:00am, service at 11:00am at St. Petri Lutheran Church, 3120 S. Byrne Road. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Petri Lutheran Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Arrangements made by Newcomer Funeral Home (Southwest Chapel).
