Marjorie L. (VanHoy) Lewis
Marjorie L. (VanHoy) Lewis, age 72 of Toledo passed away Thursday, October 3, 2002 in Medical College of Ohio Hospital. She was born March 20, 1930 to Royce and Nettie (Langschied) Stone in Petersburg, Michigan. Marjorie, the mother of 13 children, enjoyed feeding her birds and building her wolf collection.
In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her daughter; Cheryl Van Hoy and sister; Joanne Matuszewski. She is survived by her children; Phyliss (Patrick) Lesniewski, Dorothea (Elmer) Scott III, Robert (Sunny) VanHoy, Juanita (Harry) Scott, Carl (Mary) VanHoy, Gary (Frances) VanHoy, Ronald VanHoy, George (Tina) VanHoy, Terry (Richard) Kasack, Pamela (Frank) Rice, Evelyn Lewis, Paul Lewis, 50 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren, sister; Marilyn Smotherman and brother; Richard Stone.
There will be no visitation. The family will receive guests at a Memorial Service on Saturday, October 12, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at Toledo Memorial Park, 6382 Monroe St. Sylvania, Ohio. Officiating will be Pastor Dan Dostater of Calvary Bible Chapel, East. Arrangements handled by the Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300).
