Marjorie L. Mason, age 82, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at the Laurels of Toledo surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 1, 1929 in Kansas City, Missouri. Marjorie was an avid reader and loved to sing. She was a longtime member of Greater St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church. Marjorie will be deeply missed by all of those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Theo Overton and brother, Buddy Gramps. Marjorie is survived by her children, Diane (Ted) Wright, James Overton and Saundra Eddie; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive guests on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Greater St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church 416 Belmont Ave., Toledo, with Funeral Services beginning at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
