Marjorie Eldridge

Marjorie "Carol" Eldridge, age 80, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Friday, September 25, 2015 at home surrounded by loving family under Heartland Hospice care. She was born March 11, 1935 to Eleanor (Heath) Rossbach in Toledo.

Married to her husband of 60 years, Richard C. Eldridge, Sr. she was a loving wife and wonderful mother. She enjoyed many things; working retail brought many stories. Carol also enjoyed lunches with her members of the Libbey Girls Club. Carol enjoyed nothing more than road trips, going to Devils Lake the last 20 plus years, and family gatherings.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Jean Eldridge and uncle, Jack Heath. Carol is survived by her loving husband, Dick, Sr.; children, Richard Eldridge, Jr., Bradley (Les) Eldridge, Steven (Nancy) Eldridge, Wayne (Brenda) Eldridge, Jeff Eldridge, Donna (Aaron) Bailey; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Gatsos; uncle, Dick Heath; loving dog, Gracie; and many dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday from 3 - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
