Marjorie Edith Olson passed away Monday, May 26, 2008 after a long illness. She was born on January 14, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York to Joseph and Mary Elizabeth (McGuirk) Leonard. She married John Olson on July 9th, 1950 in Richmond Hill, New York. Marge retired from Dillard's, formerly Lion Store in 1993, but remained in contact with all her friends through LARKS. After her retirement Marge continued to keep busy at the Manor House in Wildwood Park. She loved golf and bowling and especially spending time with friends. But Marge's pride and joy were her children and grandchildren.
Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Mary Emily (Robert) Dutkowski, of Toledo; Joan (Douglas) Kruzel, of Toledo and Nancy (Richard) Adams of Sandusky, OH; sons, Robert and Thomas (Dawn) Olson, both of Toledo; 12 grandchildren, Jill; Julie and Robert Dutkowski; Karen and Diane Kruzel; Emily and Robert Olson; Amanda Willis; Abigayle Adams; Samantha; Sierra and Sandi Olson and special pet "Charlie".
The family will receive guests on Thursday from 2-8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo, (419-473-0300). A Mass of Celebration will begin Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Clement Catholic Church, 3030 Tremainsville Rd. Officiating will be Fr. Dave Beck.
