Marjorie Brenizer
Marjorie A. Brenizer, age 58, of Holland, Ohio passed away Tuesday, February 8th, 2011 at The Toledo Hospital. She was born September 23, 1952 in Toledo, Ohio.
Marji was an English teacher and National Diamond Award Speech Coach at Whitmer High School for over 20 years before retiring. She was a member of Phi Delta Kappa International, Phi Lamda Theta Honorary Organization and NEA. She received national recognition for high levels of competition in speech and debate. She enjoyed reading and traveling throughout the United States & Canada.
Marji was preceded in death by her father, Louie Hughes. She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 36 years, Jim Brenizer; her beloved mother, Catherine; many other loving family members and numerous friends, school faculty and former students.
The family will receive guests Friday from 2-8:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns (419-381-1900) and Saturday from 9-10:00am at Holland Free Methodist Church, 6605 Angola Rd., Holland, OH. Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 10:00am at the church. Officiating will be Pastor Keith Simpson and Reverend Steve Anthony, Toledo Area Ministries. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park, Chapel of Peace, 6832 Monroe Street, Sylvania, OH.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holland Free Methodist Church, or to Toledo Area Ministries.
