Marjorie Luella Bollinger, age 80, of Maumee, passed away unexpectedly April 6, 2017 at her home only a few short weeks after her beloved husband, Ernest C. Bollinger passed away. She was born February 6, 1937 in Toledo to Linzie and Margaret (Walker) Shepherd.
Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Clara M.B. (Nathan) Chambers; step-daughter, Maureen (Ken) L. Baron; daughter-in-law, Mary Bollinger; grandchildren, Lisa Bollinger, Leslie Chambers, Kristen (Steve Bigelow) Chambers, Briana (Adam) Pifer, Erica Chambers and Brittany Baron; great-granddaughter, Addison Bollinger; sisters, Roma Jean (Charles) Bennett, Charlotte Klear, Linda Spurlock, and Rita Shepherd; brothers, Paul Mexico, James (Melody) Mexico, Danny Shepherd, and Ronald Bollinger. In addition to her parents and husband, Marjorie was preceded in death by her daughter, Kandy A. Cockie-Mills; step-son, Ernest W. Bollinger and sisters, Helen Akers and Virginia Lawn.
The family will receive guests Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home on Heatherdowns. Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to The University Church Community Garden, the Monroe Street Neighborhood Center or the American Legion Walter Weller Post in Marjorie's memory.
