Marilyn J. Wilkins, age 69, a lifelong resident of Toledo passed away Monday, January 2nd, 2006 in St. Anne Hospital. She was born May 6th, 1936 to Robert and Lillian (Peinert) Lutman in Toledo. Marilyn was employed with J. C. Penney for 12 years. She had a talent for sewing, making clothing for her grandchildren. Recently she began quilting. Marilyn "Millie" was also a collector of Precious Moments figurines. She enjoyed camping, attending her grandchildren's sporting events and treasured time spent with her family and friends. She and her husband attended many social functions through the Zenobia Shrine and AMVET organizations. She was also a former member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her in-laws, Charles and Margaret (Hay) Wilkins. She is survived and will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 49 years, Charles F. Wilkins; sons, Michael Wilkins and Donald "Toby" Wilkins of Orlando, FL; daughters, Robin (Joe) Maran; Terri (Dan) Wohn; Deborah (Chuck) Lambert of Defiance, OH and Jean Marie Hashim; brother, Donald (Joyce) Lutman of Lambertville, MI; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild on the way, as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
The family will recieve guests Friday from 3-8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
