Marilyn Wallace

Marilyn Wallace, age 70, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Sunday September 4,2022.

Marilyn, was born in Toledo, Ohio, November 29th, 1951, the third out of five children to the late Daniel and Margaret Jachimiak. In 1977, she married the late Mario Wallace, together they raised four children, a daughter, Rachel (the late Joe Peters); three sons, Mario (Jill), Tony (Sabrina), and Dominic (Krystal); in addition to her children, left to cherish her memory are her fifteen grandchildren; two brothers, Daniel and Brian (Teena) and two sisters, Cathy and Jeanne (Jim); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She attended Whitmer High School graduating in 1969. She worked at Toledo Hospital in Respiratory care for 30+ years. After retiring Marilyn enjoyed gardening, spending time with her grandchildren and her loving dogs.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Mario; parents, Daniel and Margaret Jachimiak; and in-laws, Edwin and Maria Wallace.

Family and friends will be received Sunday, September 25, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd, Toledo (419-392-9500), where a Memorial Service will immediately follow in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Toledo Humane Society.
