Marilyn A. Tucker

Marilyn A. Tucker, age 96, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at home with loving family by her side. She was born on June 6, 1926 to Hector and Hazel (Trabbic) Belanger in Toledo. Marilyn graduated from Central Catholic High School. She worked at Jeep for 20 years retiring in 1988. Marilyn was a longtime member of St. Catherine of Siena Church and the Red Hat Society. She was an avid traveler in her later years especially to Europe, Canada and Mexico. Marilyn volunteered for many years at St. Vincent and St. Anne's Hospitals. She was a lover of all animals, mostly cats. Marilyn enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends. Her smile, spirit and caring nature will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish Marilyn's memory are her loving daughter, Karen Tucker; grandchildren, Stephanie Tucker, Elice (Zachary) Martin, Michael (Rajeanna) Tucker, Carrie (Chuckie) Williamson and Aaron Tucker; 4 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Tucker; children, Colleen Tucker, Patrick "Marty" Tucker, Paul Tucker and Richard Tucker; and brother, Howard Belanger.

The family will receive guests on Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Mass will begin Monday, March 27, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 420 Sandusky St., Toledo, OH 43611. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
