Marilyn Overy

Marilyn J. Overy, age 69, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 13, 1943 in Toledo to Franklin and Margaret (Smith) Strong. Marilyn was employed by National Family Opinion as a code designer for 18 years, retired due to illness in 2000. She was an avid card player and also enjoyed bingo. Marilyn was a member of the Maumee Eagles, Maumee Elks and Southside American Legion Post.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 44 years, James Overy; sons, Dale Overy and Rob Bauman; grandchildren, Rachel, Courtney, Dale James, Brook, Robbie and Kenny; sister, Kathleen (John) Kowalski; brother, Kenneth (Betty) Strong. In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Bauman.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church, 1853 South Ave, Toledo, Ohio 43609. The family requests memorial contributions to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
