Marilyn G. Leichty

Marilyn G. "Moe" Leichty, age 76, of Napoleon, OH passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Henry County Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born on July 8, 1945 to Walter and Victoria Hepner in Bono, Ohio. Marilyn enjoyed crocheting, gardening and baking; most importantly her cakes and Christmas cookies. She loved animals of all kinds especially dogs. Marilyn liked playing cards with friends and family, beating everyone at Rummy and Canasta. She loved nothing more than spending time with her daughters and grandchildren, they were her pride and joy. Marilyn's smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former spouse, Ronald Benore; and brother and sister-in-law, William and Millie Hepner. Left to cherish her memory are her loving daughters, Suzanne Osburn and Tracey Benore; grandson, Michael (Jen) Osburn; granddaughter, Samantha Benore; great-grandson, Liam Osburn; sister, Carol Hepner; nephews, Tim (Deb) Hepner and Bart Hepner; and many cousins and dear friends.

There will be no visitation for Marilyn and the family will have a Private Celebration to honor her. Newcomer Funeral Home – West Sylvania Chapel (419-392-9500) assisted the family with professional services.
