Marilyn Eleanor Frederick, age 81, died peacefully Thursday, October 8th, 2009 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, with her loving family by her side. She was born to Ernest and Hazel (Musson) Losey in Toledo, on June 11th, 1928. Marilyn later graduated from Woodward High School. Her interests included, cooking, baking, gardening, crocheting and most of all, taking care of her family and her friends. Marilyn also opened her heart and home to cats in need. She was a member of Northpoint Church of the Nazarene.
Marilyn is survived by her son, Terry (Ruth) Frederick; daughter Vicky (Denny) Morey; grandchildren, Missy Frederick; Russell Morey and Nicole (Mike) Morey Hart; great-granddaughter, Helena; brother, Gerry; sister, Katie, as well as, many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death, by her husband Russell Frederick; son, Russell "Butch" Frederick, Jr.; brother, Harvey and sister, Dorothy.
The family will receive guests Monday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Steve Salyers. Internment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
