Marilyn L. Alford, age 78, of Holland, passed away January 31, 2018 in her home. Marilyn was born October 31, 1939 in Michigan to Gerald and Myrna (Boldt) Shay. She enjoyed shopping, building things, remodeling, sewing and crafting. She retired from Meijer after 30 years of faithful service.
She is survived by her children, Karen S. (Wynton) Byrd, Patti J. Orner, Kimberly L. (Stan) Carroll, Amy J. Alford, James W. Fulton, III; sister, Linda Powers; best friend, Carol Yockey; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
The family will receive guests Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Newcomer - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 7:00 pm. at the funeral home.
