Marie Smith, 96, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014. She was born August 10, 1917 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Marie enjoyed being a housewife, sewing, shopping and spending time with her goddaughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She leaves to cherish her memory, goddaughter, Carlotta Williamson-Brown; 3 grandchildren, Lakaisha Rayford, LeLonnie and Taira Williamson-Brown; 8 great grandchildren and special friend, Robert Sherley. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Smith, mother, father and 8 siblings.
A graveside service will be held Friday, January 24, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery, 1502 West Central Ave., Toledo. Please meet at the main gate.

that when we look up into the sky, the
brightest star, will be Marie shinning
