Marie C. Mcgee

Marie C. McGee, age 92, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Friday, June 15, 2018 at home. She was born March 10, 1926 to George and Marie E. (Schnee) Hurm in Toledo. Marie enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and gardening. She loved tending to her plants and her trees in the yard. Marie and her husband, Milo built their home where they raised 6 children; which were the light of her life. She was a longtime member of St. Clement Catholic Parish, the German American Festival Society and Retirees, the GBU and the Eleanor M. Kahle Senior Center.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Milo McGee. Marie is survived by her loving children, Ed (Debbie) McGee, George (Peggy) McGee, Mike McGee, Elaine (Bruce) West, Mary (Mike) Hamann and Carolyn (Tony) Rombach; sister, Lucille Hurm; grandchildren, Ed (Kristen) McGee Jr., Matt (Sarah) McGee, Becky (Cody) Crawford, Scott McGee, Todd (Karly) McGee, Kim (Steve) Barnaclo, Samantha (Brent) McMahon, Rob West, Tom West, Anna Hamann, Danielle Hamann, Luke Rombach and Nick Rombach; great-grandchildren, Bryson, Cooper, Harper, Liela, Lydia, Kendall, Balen, Bo, Chance and Macy; dear friend and honorary seventh child, Linden Kuhn; brother-in-law, Wayne "Stub" McGee; and many other family members and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 4 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). A Mass of Christian Burial will begin Monday, June 25, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Clement Catholic Parish, 3030 Tremainsville Rd., Toledo, OH 43613 with visitation at church from 9:30 – 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
