Marie F. Vilas, age 91, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 14, 1924 to Frederick and Eva (Englert) McLean in Toledo. Marie was employed with the Commodore Perry Hotel and the Toledo Country Club before retiring.
Marie is survived by her loving daughter, Maria (Jeff) Newman; grandchildren, Nicola (Drew), Stephen (Helena) and Marisa (John); great-grandchildren, Ariana, Stephen II, Gia and Isabella; sister, Louise Kennedy; and loving family and friends.
The family will receive guests on Monday from 2 – 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Services will begin Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be directed to the family or The Pink Fund.
