Marie Dubose, age 81, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was born July 27, 1936 to John and Kadie Anderson in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Marie was an avid cook and loved to spend time with friends and family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Anderson; sisters, Mary Palmer, Lelia Williams and Rebecca Young; and sons, Harry Galashaw, Jr. and Lionel Anderson. Marie is survived by her loving daughters, Alice and Cindy Galashaw; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Liz Trahan and Rose Anderson; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
A Memorial Service to honor Marie will be held on Friday, September, 8, 2017 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1722 Cherry St., Toledo, with the family receiving friends from 11 – 12:00 p.m. followed by the service beginning at Noon.
Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the Alzheimer's Association.
