Marie "Marge" Bilius
Marie Bilius, age 97, of Toledo, passed away November 11, 2018 at Flower Hospital. Marie was born July 22, 1921 in Holland, Ohio to Stanley and Mary (Sniegowski) Kolasinski. She was a care giver for Nellie McSorley who was the spouse of Ernie McSorley (Captain of the Edmund Fitzgerald). Marie was a member of Little Flower Church. She enjoyed playing bingo and the lottery. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Wally (Mary Jo) Bilius and Sharon (Marty) Pietraszak; grandchildren, Todd (Ronit) Bilius, Amy (Andy) Gardner, Carrie (Ben) Fleishman and Josh Pietraszak as well as nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Bernard, Leonard, Robert & William Kolasinski.
The family will receive guests Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer - West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Road (419-392-9500). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 10:00 am. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
The family would like to especially thank, special friend, Shirley Payne for her companionship and care. They would also like to thank the staff of Lakes of Sylvania and the 6th floor of Flower Hospital for their care and support.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice in Marie's memory.
