Marie Abbott
Marie S. Abbott, 82, passed away at her home December 12, 2007. Mrs. Abbott retired from Chase Bag Co. and was a longtime member of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church.
She is survived by Patricia Vance, her friend, roommate and primary caregiver; daughter: Rowena Williams; son: Arnold (Lorraine) Galloway; grandchildren: Stephanie Williams, Pam and Scott Galloway, all of Los Angeles, CA; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive guests on Monday, December 17, 2007 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) from 4 – 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, 1401 Hoag St. Officiating will be Pastor Raymond Bishop. Interment will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family extends their most heartfelt appreciation to Patricia Vance and her entire family for their love, friendship and support.
We also would like to thank Carol, Maureen and Lavonda of Hospice of Northwest Ohio and Diane Hagen, secondary caregiver.
