Marian Elizabeth Sarver-Rupp

Marian Elizabeth Sarver Rupp was called home to our Lord on August 4, 2022. She was the wife of Tyrone Rupp and widow of Don Sarver.

She was born in an ambulance on December 7,1923 to Rose and Norval Price. To all who knew her, she was a positive, loving, bright light, to the lives she touched. She married Don Sarver in 1943. They were married for 62 years enjoying Dewey lake, boating, and traveling to Florida. She has four surviving children, John Sarver (Sharen), Paula Sarver Achenbach, Nancy Sarver Hoot, Tim Sarver (Reba) and Minda Rupp Bailey (Bob), Kelly Rupp, Amy Rupp Driver. She also has a multitude of grandkids, nieces, and nephews, who she all dearly loved. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister (Laurel Sarver), and Don.

Under magical circumstances, she met Ty Rupp and fell in love once again. Along with Ty came a second family for her to share her uniqueness. Ty and Marian were married on November 1, 2007 and enjoyed each other to the fullest!

Marian devoted her life to Christ, and her church Augsburg Lutheran. Her motto was "where there is no love, put love!" She worked for Northwest Ohio Lutheran Synod and was a devoted Sunday school teacher for many years. She loved reading her bible and daily devotions. Marian lived and taught in his name.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, laughing, and always wearing a smile on her face. Her favorite song was, 'If you're happy and you know it clap your hands'. She was a loving and caring person. As well as a devoted wife, mother, and friend; always thinking of others. To know her was to love her.

Services will be held at Augsburg Lutheran Church, 1342 W. Sylvania Ave. Toledo, on Saturday August 13, 2020. Viewing hours are from 9:30-10:30 with a service and luncheon to follow.
