Marian Grace P'Simer

Marian Grace P'Simer, passed away suddenly, on Monday, January 23, 2023 at the age of 89. She was born January 15, 1934 to Dale and Mary Justine (Wilson) Mick, in Braxton County, West Virginia. She was known by all as Grace. She married John P'Simer on January 8, 1951 in Clay, West Virginia. They eventually settled in Amherst, OH with their four children.
She was a kitchen supervisor at Amherst Manor Nursing Home and Ohio Extended Care in Lorain, OH. After retirement she moved to Georgetown, Florida, around 1984, where she resided until moving to Perrysburg, Ohio in 2017 to be near her daughter.
She loved to work in her garden, fish, go to casinos, cheer for the Dallas Cowboys and watch golf on TV.
Grace was proceeded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 57 years, John P'Simer; son, Steve P'Simer; granddaughter, Amy P'Simer; siblings, Roger "Bud", Leola, Karen and Barb.
Grace is survived by her son, John F. (Kristi) P'Simer, daughter, Marian JoAnn (David) Kiefer, son, David (Claudia) P'Simer; daughter-in-law, Vicki P'Simer; brother, Michael (Shirl) Mick and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family will receive guests Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900).
In lieu of flower memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice in Marian's memory.
