Marian Poitinger

Marian Poitinger, age 90, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully, August 1, 2021, with her loving family by her side. She was born on February 13, 1931, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late William and Margaret (McKinnon) Patterson.

Marian was employed at the Washington Local School for over 20 years, before retiring in 1991.

Those left to forever cherish her memory is her daughter, Jessica L. (Wayne) Hardy; son, Jeffrey A. Poitinger; sister, Aileen Mumford; grandchildren, Attalee (Jim) Brix, Alexandra (Rylan) Schweda, Andrew (Kathy) Hardy and Aaron (April) Hardy, Yates A. Poitinger and Jessica Paige Poitinger; eight great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews and good friends. She will be sadly missed by all.

In addition to her parents was preceded in death by her loving husband, David E. Poitinger of 62 years; a daughter, Karen Lynn Poitinger in 1986; two brothers, William (Jack) Patterson and Elsworth (Bill) Mullins.
