Marian E. Geyer

Marian E. Geyer, age 88, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Vibrant Life Senior Living. She was born on May 29, 1928 to Clayton and Mable (Balk) Geyer. Marian attended the University of Toledo and Stautzenberger Business College. She worked as an administrative secretary for Owens Corning for over 30 years. She also worked as a bookkeeper and secretary at Toledo Steel Products.

Marian was a member of the Christian Fellowship Church for over 50 years where she worked in the S.S. Department. She was active in the Christian Business and Professional Women's since it's onset in Toledo serving as advisor and various other capacities. Marian also served as secretary for many years for Bible Study Fellowship. In later years she attended Emmanuel Baptist Church. Her life was lived in faithful services to the Lord and others.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Clayton C. Geyer. Marian is survived by her niece, Terri Ann (Ivan) Crowe; nephew, Charles (Alicia) Geyer; great-nieces, Aundrea (Rob) Geyer-Smith, Julie Martin, Lina Richards, J.J. Geyer, Todd Crowe, Michelle Lowery, and Kelly Crowe; and many other great-nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 4 – 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Bruce Snyder. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
