Mariah L. Harris

Mariah L. Harris, age 10, of Toledo, went to be with the Lord on December 27, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 21, 2010 to Diamond Harris and Derrick Martre in Toledo. Mariah was an eager 4th grade student at Spring Elementary. She loved doing arts and crafts and playing on her tablet. Mariah was very creative and making doll clothes. She was feisty, caring and had a huge heart. Mariah enjoyed spending time with her siblings and family. She was very outgoing and even for being the baby twin, she was the "boss lady". Mariah loved dogs as well. She was strong and a fighter throughout her journey and was a hero to many. Her smile, spirit and sweet caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish Mariah's memory are her mom, Diamond Harris; step-dad, Xavier Chapman; dad, Derrick Martre; twin sister, Maraisa; brother, Xavier; sister, Kamilia; grandparents, Jennifer Garibay and Don Harris; step-grandma, Lorri Chapman; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be private.
