Maria Lopez Guzman
May 17, 1943 — March 9, 2017
Maria De Jesus Guzman, 73, of the Toledo, Ohio area passed away March 9th, 2017. Maria Guzman was the daughter of Baudelia (Rocha) and Tomas Lopez, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Carolyn (Kurt) Fitzenreiter, Adolph "Chopper" (Tina) Guzman Jr., Belinda (Jeffrey) Russell, and Christopher Guzman; three sisters, Catalina Sanchez, Juanita Baldwin, and Juana Anita Flores; four grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was welcomed into Heaven by her parents; brother, Pedro Lopez; sister, Carmen Lopez, and two great grandchildren.
Maria worked as a farm laborer, housekeeper, factory worker, and homemaker. She enjoyed crafts, her Roman Catholic faith, and she loved her family. She will be greatly missed.
The family will receive guests on Monday, March 13, 2017 from 2-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Monday at 7:00 p.m.
Maria's family would like to specially thank the nurses and staff at Heartland at Oregon for their loving care and support they provided to her.
