Margueritte Brooks

Margueritte M. Brooks, age 94, of Temperance, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. She was born on December 22, 1918 to Reinhard and Ida (Laurich) Lamprecht in Toledo. During Margueritte's younger years, she was affiliated with the Order of the Eastern Star for nearly 50 years. While she was a resident of Moongate Senior Community, she enjoyed the camaraderie with the neighbors and friends that she had made while playing Bingo and Bunco. Her pride and joy was her family, she cherished the time that she spent with her son, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Clarence "Sonny" (Mary) Brooks; grandchildren, Jodie (Rich), Tracy, Brad, Rick, Kris (Charlie), Kelly (Tim) and Mike (Adrienne) and many loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests from 3-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
