Margrett L. Brown

Margrett L. Brown was born September 24, 1949 to the parents John Asberry Jr. and Luddie Mae Bradford Collins, in Gadsden, Alabama.

Preceding her are both parents, brother Larry Asberry, sister Johnny Mae Asberry and great grand baby Halo.

She went to school in Gadsden, Alabama. Margrett loved spending time with her family and close friends. Her passion was she loved to cook and was the greatest at it; there's no one who knew her that could tell you that her food was not good. She loved spending time with family and friends. She was a spiritual women and loved helping others and was a very caring women.

She work several domestic jobs while living in Alabama and was a caregiver. In Ohio, she work at Stylistic Wig Shop, domestic and Hunts Company.

At a young age, she married Ricky Brown on November 22, 1968 and they were married for 27 years. They had four children and they moved from Alabama in 1972 to Toledo, Ohio.

She leaves to cherish her memories, Angela L. Brown, Sandy D. Brown, Ricky V. Brown, and Leonard G. Brown all of Toledo, Ohio; 12 Grandkids, Keith L. Moore Jr., Brandon Brown, Leonard Brown Jr., Marcus Brown, Tierra Brown, Tanisha Corley, Brianna Jackson, ReRe Brown, Ajia Velasquez, Nina Brown, Miracle Moss, and Ravann Brown and 21 great grand kids; brother Harold Asberry; 6 nephews and 7 nieces.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with a service immediately following at 2:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel at 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, OH 43614.
