Marge A. Leininger

Marge A. Leininger, 88, passed away on Feb 11, 2013. She was born on November 22, 1924 in Toledo, Ohio to Art and Cleopha Fall.

She graduated from Notre Dame Academy. Marge was married for over 45 years to Earl Leininger, who preceded her in death. She is survived by son, David Leininger; three grandchildren, Shelley, Suzy, and Steven; sisters, Helen Mantz, Jean Klaiber.

Marge worked for over 25 years as a legal secretary. She loved traveling out West and to other interesting places. Her main enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren and family, especially during sporting events and random day trips. It was always a thrill going out to eat at restaurants, playing pool, and having an occasional martini. Eating desert was the most important part of the meal. Going up north to downhill ski was also one of her favorite past times. She was always proud of her well-kept yard and pretty flowers. Marge was known for her generosity, energy, and a smile you would always remember. It was not uncommon to run into old faces and be asked how Marge was doing even after years of not seeing her. Her fun-loving personality and passionate love of life touched many people she came into contact with.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their care and compassion.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 18, 2013 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
