Margaret J. Sutherland
July 2, 1924 — February 26, 2022
Margaret J. Sutherland, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2022, at the age of 97. Daughter of Floyd and Rosella (Parcell) Jacobs, she was born in Toledo, Ohio, on July 2, 1924.
Margaret was a 1942 graduate of DeVilbiss High School. She was employed at Jacobson's for five years and Associate Physicians MCO for eleven years.
Those left to forever cherish her memory are her son, John (Shelley) Sutherland; daughter, Kristine (Griffith) Sutherland-Crammond; seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren with one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Sutherland; and son, Dan Sutherland.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at St. Lukes Lutheran Church, 1690 Stearns Road, Temperance, Michigan, from 9:00 am - 11:00 am, where her funeral service will be at 11:00 am, with Pastor Kari Rinas. Margaret will be laid to rest at Whiteford Union Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lucas County Humane Society.
