Margaret Sherette

Margaret "Elsie" Sherette, age 90, of Toledo, Ohio passed away March 10, 2015 at Browning Masonic in Waterville, Ohio. She was born November 29, 1924 in Toledo to William and Margaret (Mackay) Gordon. She was employed with the Toledo Public Schools, as a Secretary for more than 14 years. Elsie enjoyed knitting, crocheting, word search and reading. She was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church.

Elsie is survived by her daughter, Bonnie J. (Dennis) Lee; son, Michael B. (Jodi) Sherette; grandchildren, Kevin (Sandra) Steward, James (Stacy) Steward, Jennifer (David) Paolini, Kelsey Lee, Kreig Sherette and Katelynn Sherette; 10 great-grandchildren, brothers, Robert and Neil Gordon; sister, Ann Sherette; sister-in-law, Dorothy Gordon and many nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents, Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Sherette; brothers, Thomas, Bruce, William, Alexander and John Gordon; and sister, Elizabeth Crammond.

The family will receive guests Sunday, March 15, 2015 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 10:00 am. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
