Margaret L. Morrison

Margaret L. "Mockie" Morrison, age 92, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the Toledo Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 28, 1924 to Alonzo and Maybelle Beadle in Morell, Ohio. Margaret worked at Willys Overland during WWII as one of Rosie the Riveter's. She then went on to work at Tiedtke's as a cashier for many years before staying home to raise her family. Margaret enjoyed gardening, baking and was an avid Detroit Tigers fan. She was a longtime member of Faith Baptist Church, Temperance, MI. Margaret loved the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Margaret is survived by her loving children, Audrey Bonnell, Randi (Phillip) Himebaugh and Roger (Penny) Morrison; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; dear friend, Vi Sanders; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Inon Morrison; sister, Deon Raitz; and brothers, David and Jack Beadle.

A Memorial Service in honor of Margaret will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church, 6245 Whiteford Center Rd., Temperance, MI. The Newcomer Funeral Home – NW Chapel assisted the family with professional services.
