Margaret M. Burroughs, 101, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2013. She was born on February 28, 1911 in Glasgow, Scotland.
Margaret and her family immigrated to New York in 1923. She lived in New York City until 1954 when she, her husband and sons relocated to Bedford Twp., Michigan. Margaret retired from Continental Aviation in 1970 after 13 years of service. She was very active with the Bedford Senior Citizens, delivering Meals on Wheels for over 15 years. Margaret loved to travel; she took trips to Australia, Denmark and finally, in 1996, had the opportunity to go back to Glasgow, Scotland.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil H. Burroughs. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Bob (Pat) and Don (Bev); six grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Private services.
