Margaret L. Orban

Margaret L. "Maggie" Orban, age 79, of Toledo, passed away January 31, 2009 at The Toledo Hospital. She was born January 26, 1930 to Frederick and Emma (Boesling) Wegener in Toledo. Maggie was a lifetime member of Memorial Lutheran Church and often enjoyed quilting with the ladies there. She was an avid gardener and loved animals. Maggie liked taking care of children and loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Ronna Lee Orban-Turkopp and 8 brothers and sisters. Maggie is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Ronald Orban; daughter, Rochelle M. (Floyd) Krieghoff; grandson, Geoffrey; sister, Carol (William) Ballert; brother, Harry Wegener; and many nieces, nephews, in-laws, dear friends and neighbors.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, February 15, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Lutheran Church, 3215 Douglas Rd. The Newcomer Funeral Home (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
