Marcia A. Good, age 78, of Sylvania Township, passed away Monday, February 8, 2021 at home. She was born on October 24, 1942 to Max and Angie Lawniczak in Toledo. After graduating from Central Catholic High School Marcia obtained her LPN certificate and worked as a nurse for a few years. She met her soul mate and best friend, Bobby "Dutch" Good, and they were married for 52 years until his passing in May 2015. They were inseparable and in love throughout their marriage. Marcia was a longtime member of Little Flower Parish and loved the Lord. She liked playing games on her tablet and reading her Bible. Marcia loved taking casino trips, camping, and polka and square dancing with her family and friends. She also enjoyed crocheting, cooking and playing cards. Marcia's biggest pride and joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; they always brought life to her and a smile to her face. Her smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved soul mate, Dutch Good; sister, Susie Hedges; and brother, Norman Lawniczak. Marcia is survived by her loving children, Danny Good and Denise Terry; grandchildren, Amanda and Alyssa; great-grandchildren, Abigail and McKenzie; siblings, Barbara (Steve) Biela, Connie Morrison, Mike (Linda) Lawniczak, John (Carla) Lawniczak, Margie (Murphy) Murray, Paul (Debbie) Lawniczak, Bill (April) Lawniczak, and Joe (Patti) Lawniczak; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and dear friends.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd., Toledo, OH 43617 (419-392-9500) with a Funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Little Flower Parish, 5522 Dorr St., Toledo, OH. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
