Magdalena Ulrich

Magdalena Ulrich, age 88, of Toledo, OH, passed away June 1, 2022 at Flower Hospital. Magdalena was born August 10, 1933 in Moos, Germany to Josef and Anna (Thannhauser) Hoglsperger. Magdalena immigrated to the United States in June of 1951. She met the love of her life Alfred Ulrich and they married November 21, 1953. She was employed as a Seamstress for more than 20 years. She was a homemaker, dedicated wife and mother. She was a charter member of the German-American Festival. Magdalena was a member of the GBU and Grace Lutheran Church.

In addition to her parents, Magdalena was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Alfred F. Ulrich and her brother, Josef Hoglsperger. She is survived by her sons, Gerhard (Jane) and Fred (Lisa) Ulrich; sister, Anna Wurzinger; grandchildren, Chris (Laura) Ulrich, Scott (Liz) Ulrich, Gayle (Seamus) Conway, Matthew Ulrich, Jason (Rachel) Ulrich, Bryan Ulrich, and Amber (Spencer) Georgetti; great-grandchildren, Fritz, Magdalena, Eliza, Edison, Otto, Maya, and Adalynn.

The family will receive guests Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 9:30 am - 10:30 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Tuesday at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park 4210 Central Ave.
