Mae Dean Young "Granny", 68, of Toledo, Ohio was born October 20,1953. She is proceeded in death by parents Isreal and Ola Mae Young, daughter Gwendolyn D. Young, sister in-law Leisha Young and son in-law Damien Spearman.
Mae was an alumni of Jesup W. Scott High School. She was a well loved bartender at the 5th Quarter, The 101, and The Quality Bar. She also worked at Libbey Glass and Sunrise Windows.
Mae was an kind, caring, loving, compassionate woman and very outspoken. Everyone she came in contact with loved her. She was truly the rock of this family and will forever be missed.
She loved to sing, dance, cook, and be around family. She leaves to cherish her memory her brother and sisters, Vernon and Sandra Young and Vanessa Sample. Six children, Sharice, Latoya, Tyreece, Lacresha, Jessie and Serenity. Two son-in-law's, Joseph Fleming and Kevin Newby, and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Campbell. A good friend Larry Featchurs, she also leaves 27 grandchildren and 23 great grand children and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive guests Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900).
