Madonna Rose Sarahman, the daughter of Orville and Margaret Link, entered this world on October 4, 1942 and passed away on January 18, 2018. She put up a valiant fight, and now we are left to mourn the loss of her kindhearted, loving soul with the biggest smile that lit up the room. Everyone who had the opportunity to interact with Madonna can now reflect back on the impact she had on their lives directly, the genuine love and kindness she so openly shared, and the wonderful memories she leaves behind. We are going to miss her and our heart aches for the void that we already feel in our lives. We look forward to seeing her again. Until then, we patiently wait.
Madonna retired in 2003 after a 30 year career at the former Toledo Mental Health Center. She was a friend of Lois W. for 38 years.
Madonna is survived by her spouse Richard "Rich" Sarahman; son, Michael (Robin) Couch; stepson Richard "Rick" Sarahman; her grandchildren, Crystal Garcia, Shalyn Couch, Tarah Couch and Bethany (Joshua) Grebel; eight great-grandchildren, her brother Paul (Jackie) Link and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Angela Marie; her parents and her step-children, Michelle Wright, Eugene Sarahman and Douglas Sarahman.
