Madonna Komorowski

Madonna M. "Donna" Komorowski, age 76, of Toledo, went to be with her husband, on Friday, January 4, 2008 at St. Anne Mercy Hospital with their loving children by her side. She was born on December 31, 1931 to Meredith and Victoria (Kolebuck) Price in Toledo. Donna was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in 1949. She went on to work in the office at Owens Illinois for 8 years, in which time she met and then married the love of her life, Robert C. Komorowski, on August 4, 1956 at St. Hedwig Catholic Church and they soon after started their family. Donna throughly enjoyed playing cards, the lottery and going to the casino. She enjoyed the many family gatherings and loved nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Komorowski and sister, Nancy Price. Donna is survived by her children: Anne Guthrie, Diane (Mike) Pozniak, Susan (Doyle) Dixon, Laura (Tom) Stearns, Stephen (Julie) Komorowski and Patricia (Steve) Lewis; grandchildren: Kristen Guthrie, Taylor and Trevor Stearns, Stephen, Matthew, and Michael Komorowski and Paige, Sydney and Samantha Lewis; great-grandson: Corey Guthrie; siblings: Meredith (Judy) Price and Carol (Charlie) Whitmire; and many extended family members and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, January 9, 2007 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) from 2 – 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service being recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Regina Coeli, 530 Regina Pkwy., Toledo. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
