Madonna R. Cupp, age 74 of Toledo passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, August 2nd, 2010. She was born October 8th, 1935 to Leo and Gladys (Page) Roberts in Toledo, Ohio. She was a long time member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church where she was an active member of the Marian Society and was devoted to her faith. Madonna enjoyed her casino trips to Detroit and playing euchre with her family and friends. Many memories were created at the cottage on Silver Lake where Madonna spent over 30 years. Madonna was a twin and she was proud to have shared that bond with her twin brother. Her family will remember her as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed her family and hosting many Sunday and holiday dinners for them.
She is survived by her children, Robert (Nikki) Kolasinski, Debra Green, James Kolasinski, Mark Kolasinski, Richard (Peggy) Kolasinski and Donna (Jason) King; sixteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Theresa Paxton and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents; husband Harold Cupp in 2004; grandson, Bradley James Kolasinksi and seven siblings.
The family will receive guests Thursday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). The Rosary will be recited in the funeral home at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin Friday at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 4555 North Haven Avenue. Interment to follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
